Here is a simple way to create a Transparent Gel Text Effect. Download the zip file below and place it in the Scripts Restricted folder under the My PSP8 Files folder. To run the script, first create some text in Vector format. Note that the foreground and backgrpund colors should be the same. Use colors from the basic color group. White, Black and Grays do not work well with this script. Use a large font size (48 - 72) Once the Text IS on the screen, simply run the script. |
Once the Gel effects is created, you can apply distortion effects and obtain for some really crazy results. Here the Warp distortion effect was applied. |
